• Chairman and Managing Director of Pechel.
• Prior to Pechel, from 1989 to 1995, Ms. Ploix was Deputy Managing Director of Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations in charge of all banking and financial activities (largest French financial institution at the time), and also held the position of Chairman of CDC Participations (€1.5 billion under management).
• Previously she held positions in the public sector (Adviser to the Prime Minister on economic and financial affairs, Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank), and in the private sector (Chairman of BIMP where she created the first LBO fund in France; Vice-President of CEP (1978 to 1982); Management Consultant at McKinsey & Co (1968 to 1978)).
• Ms. Ploix studied in France and in the USA (IEP, Paris; MAPA, Berkeley; MBA INSEAD; degree in law and English literature).
• Ms. Ploix is an Officer of the French Légion d'Honneur. She is an independent Director of BNP-Paribas, Lafarge, Publicis and Ferring. She previously was a Director of Alliance Boots and a member of the Investments Committee of the UN staff pension fund. In 2001 to 2002, she was Chairman of AFIC, the French association of private equity investors.
